Climate Anxiety
Its becoming clear that we cannot escape what's happening to the planet. Climate change threatens to disrupt our lives in irreversible ways and therefore poses deep anxieties that must be grappled with. Some of the feelings you may want to talk about include:
-feelings of fear, despair, and hopelessness
-listlessness and apathy
-rage and anger
-wanting to act but not knowing what to do
-not being able to think about it
-feeling like your job is a waste of time and energy
-heightened anxiety during "fire season"
-apocalyptic thoughts about the future
-worrying about your child's future
-no longer knowing if you should have kids
